The Deputy Editor supports the Editor in Chief through the development of content strategies, freelancer management, and commissioning, as well as day-to-day news coverage, feature editorials, and reviews. Helping to establish the weekly team schedule, you'll support the Editor in Chief in ensuring all content created is completed to a competitive standard and in line with our strategy. The Deputy Editor is accountable for supporting the performance and development of their teammates and contributors, providing regular guidance to ensure the Editor in Chief is equipped with relevant information to ensure staff are fully equipped to meet evolving audience demands and agreed KPIs.
