Deputy Editor

As deputy editor, you will be part of the small editorial team behind New Humanist magazine. Your main responsibilities will be assisting the editor on the quarterly print magazine, as well taking the lead on the New Humanist website and social media channels. There is also a possibility of co-hosting the Rationalist Association podcast, With Reason. You will be self-employed, on a rate of £190 per day, for 2-3 days a week. More days are usually needed as the magazine approaches its print deadline. Ideally, the deputy editor would come into our offices in Cambridge Heath for two days a week. However, the job is flexible and working from home part of the time will be negotiable.
