Sports Reporter and General Assignment Reporter

We have two openings currently. We are looking for a full time sports witer and a full time general assignment reporter. The sports reporter will be expected to do game coverage for all high school and college teams in our area along with features on area athletes. The general assignment position will be responsible for covering local government, law enforcement and feature writing.Both positions have opportunity for growth for someone seeking to become an editor or working the management side of the newspaper business.
