We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Copywriter to join our team. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting persuasive and compelling content that effectively communicates our brand value, engages target audiences, and drives desired actions. With a minimum of 7 years of experience, you bring expertise in writing for various mediums such as websites, marketing collateral, advertising campaigns, and more. Previous experience working for an agency or B2B software company is a plus. You’ll report directly to the Creative Director.
Requirements
Develop engaging and persuasive content for a wide range of marketing materials, including website copy, landing pages, product descriptions, blog posts, email campaigns, social media content, advertising campaigns, and related collateral
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project objectives, target audiences, and brand guidelines to ensure the copy aligns with overall brand messages
Research and understand the target audience, their pain points, and motivations, to create tailored and effective copy that resonates
Craft succinct and effective headlines, taglines, and calls-to-actions to capture audiences and to drive engagement
Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all communication channels and materials
Edit and proofread copy for clarity, grammar, style, and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring error-free and polished deliverables
Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and best practices in copywriting, and apply them to enhance the effectiveness and impact of our content
Collaborate with the design team to ensure a seamless integration of copy and visuals, enhancing the overall user experience and brand message
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high-quality of deliverables
Contribute creative ideas, participate in brainstorming sessions, and provide input on marketing strategies and initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a professional Copywriter, with a proven track record of creating persuasive and compelling copy for various mediums
Exceptional creativity and a strong command of the English language, with the ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content
A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of writing styles from feature stories and blog articles to marketing collateral
Strong understanding of marketing principles, target audience segmentation, and the ability to tailor copy to specific audience personas
Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and interpret information from various sources to create accurate and compelling copy
Familiarity with SEO principles and the ability to optimize copy for search engines while maintaining readability and persuasive power
Attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit copy for grammar, punctuation, and style
Proficiency in using content management systems and other relevant tools
Experience working in an agency or B2B software company is a plus
$85,000 - $106,000 a year
The salary range for this role is from $85,000 to $106,000.
