Digital Broadcast Journalist

Global Saskatoon’s News Department is currently seeking a full time Digital Broadcast Journalist to join its team. The successful candidate for this position may be required to work a variety of shifts and perform a variety of duties. In this position, you will report directly to the News and Operations Manager.

You'll be working on things like:

Generate original and relevant story/segment ideas.
Strong on-air presentation, including live remotes and unscripted material.
Write, produce, shoot, edit and post content with multiple deadlines on a daily basis for both broadcast and online.
ENG photography and non-linear editing for broadcast and online.
Publishing video content to website and social media channels.
Available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends
Producing as required
Other duties as assigned.
