Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will support efforts to plan and execute strategy while crafting exceptional content to support our award-winning work.

What You’ll be Doing:

Develop clear and engaging content for digital that is consistent with the client’s brand image and addresses both business goals and consumer needs
Manage a daily workload that will typically include a few core types of short- and long-form content for healthcare websites, i.e.: blogs, medical condition pages, treatment overviews, digital marketing ads, social posts, announcements, location pages, etc.
Utilize SEO principles to maximize content reach and effectiveness.
Carefully adhere to style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content.
Source and vet medical information — with impeccable precision — for use in content development.
Develop a solid understanding of the target audience through research.
Perform content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed.
Alter sitemaps and content structures to support project objectives.
Organize, understand and track digital content assets, and source materials from clients.
Support with client facing communications including discovery, kick-off, and status calls, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Other tasks as assigned by management.

What We're Looking for:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or related field preferred.
At least 4 years experience in copywriting, content creation, and copy editing, including writing in different voices and styles, for a variety of target audiences and in a variety of formats; samples and/or professional portfolio required
Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in writing and expressions
Experience in the medical vertical, with a strong commitment to providing accurate medical information; great gut instincts for when something seems “off”
Demonstrated success with SEO-driven content that has produced rankings
Strong instincts for content flow, structure, logic, and user intent
Sound knowledge of tools, including: content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM)
Basic knowledge of Google docs, spreadsheets, and the internet (ex. Using google maps or doing research)
Able to apply feedback immediately and consistently: Work products are always edited, neat, correct, and easy to understand/communicate
Ability to write about the same topics repeatedly, but different every time
Able to work on projects that have a lot of direction, but also projects that have very little direction — a healthy mix of autonomous time and team collaboration
Outstanding time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
Strong verbal communication and content presentation skills.
Experience with project management platforms; experience with Wrike a plus
Prior experience in an agency environment is ideal
