Digital Marketing Content Writer

Kinsale is seeking a creative and well-organized individual to develop marketing content. The individual will develop marketing content, such as email, social media messages, and web content, including blog posts. The individual will improve marketing campaigns using data and analytics from production reports and previous campaigns. The individual will work with the Marketing and other Department to identify marketing opportunities and facilitate distribution of messages.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with staff from Marketing and other business departments to execute marketing plans
Create inspirational, informative, and engaging content that drives business opportunities and web traffic and builds brand awareness
Write short and long form material to publish/distribute to external audiences (short form: marketing emails, ad copy; long form: blog posts, websites, articles)
Maintain marketing content calendar and company style guide
Proofread, as required
Update social media accounts and company websites
Prepare monthly marketing report to metrics from email, social media, and website activity
Prepare material marketing events, trade shows, and conventions
Prioritize and schedule work effectively, anticipating problems and adjusting the allocation of resources and time accordingly

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of writing short and long form material
Direct work-related experience in full suite of Microsoft Office products
Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Enjoy a flexible and spontaneous business environment.
Detail oriented and creative, with initiative and the ability to work independently and proactively
Some overnight travel required (Roughly 2-4 trips annually)
