About the role

First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

We’re looking for a marketing content/copy writer to support our digital marketing team. The right person is passionate about finding the right words, the right information and the right architecture to drive action and conversion.

You should love the challenge of understanding a complex SaaS product and getting the reader excited about the value Mews can deliver.

Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, you’ll work closely with our SEO and conversation rate manager, email marketing manager and the rest of the digital marketing team to optimize our website and digital campaigns.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Your main responsibility (or, really, responsibilities, because there are a bunch) will be the creation and oversight of copy and content for the Mews website and digital channels – guaranteeing that everything that goes out the door is high quality, represents the brand, is delivered on time and adheres to best practices for digital channels.
Serve as the copy and content expert for the digital team, anticipating next steps, briefing the team on requirements, and collecting feedback from stakeholders to guarantee the accuracy of all information.
Play a critical role in driving marketing leads (MQLs) through the optimization of the copy on our web pages, emails and automated nurture flows; this includes identifying opportunities for A/B testing, then tracking performance and making data-driven decisions.
Work with subject matter experts, including product, product marketing, market research and sales, to guarantee consistent and relevant messaging across all touch points.
Own the blog. You’ll write articles on key industry topics, edit articles written by others, and be responsible for managing the overall blog strategy to attract new audiences, keep current ones engaged, and drive leads into the pipeline.
Collaborate with other members of the digital team to create content that supports ad campaigns, SEA, paid social and SEO web pages.
Oversee the website content to make sure the content is always up-to-date and reflects the newest product and brand information that aligns with business goals.
Work closely with the digital marketing team on the day-to-day needs, priorities, and regular touchpoints.
Fulfill briefs as assigned using our project management system, Asana.
Work within Hubspot as needed.

Our product isn’t simple. There are loads of moving parts, so you’ll have to be a word ninja when it comes to translating complex product features into language that’s easily understood.

You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

3+ years in Marketing Content/Copywriting experience, ideally in the B2B SaaS area
Experience writing SEO content and optimizing pages for conversion
Strong writing skills – including working with translators
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable
Strong organizational skills to effectively and independently manage multiple projects
Attention to detail and ability to write comprehensive, compelling content
Best-in-class written communication skills in English

Bonus points for:

Great to have but not essential: basic HTML or Hubspot experience
Experience in hospitality
