Founded in 2009, Move For Hunger has partnered with 1,200+ moving companies across the nation to encourage their customers to donate their food when they move. We have seen rapid expansion over the past few years within the relocation and multifamily apartment industries - with over 600,000 apartment units working with us. In addition to rescuing food during move out, Move for Hunger also organizes hundreds of food drives, fundraisers, and corporate employee engagement events. In addition, we've expanded our reach to farmers, distributors, CPG and logistics companies in an effort to recover even more fresh food. About The Role.
As the Digital Marketing Copywriter, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling and strategic content that aligns with the organization's marketing goals. This position requires a versatile and creative individual with a strong grasp of content creation, copywriting, and coordination to support a cohesive and impactful content marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Copywriting
Develop engaging and relevant content for various channels, including, blog posts, articles, email campaigns, and more.
Create compelling content for email campaigns, newsletters, and other email marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing Automation & Strategy to create email content that maximizes engagement and conversion rates.
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and overall marketing strategy.
Develop a deep understanding of brand segmentation and tailor content and copy to ensure messaging follows strategy.
Rapidly move from conceptualization to implementation across all channels.
Craft persuasive and high-quality copy for marketing materials, advertisements, product descriptions, and other promotional content.
Develop compelling headlines, taglines, and calls-to-action to drive audience engagement.
Assist the Digital Acquisition Manager with all other content marketing needs.
Collaborate with program and development teams to create effective copy.
Draft Press releases.
Occasionally conduct interviews with community stakeholders to generate richer content.
Stay current on industry trends as well as the issues of hunger and food waste.
Manage deadlines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for content creation.
Analytics and Reporting:
Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of content across different channels.
Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and recommend optimizations based on data insights.
Implement SEO best practices in content creation to enhance online visibility and organic search performance.
In collaboration with the Digital Acquisition Manager,, conduct keyword research and integrate targeted keywords seamlessly into content.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in content creation and copywriting, preferably in a marketing context.
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
Understanding of SEO principles and content marketing best practices.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
Basic graphic design skills for creating visually appealing content.
Experience with social media management platforms.

The typical work environment is Remote/Work From Home;
28 hours per week based on the Eastern Time zone;
