Dotdash Meredith is seeking Commerce Producers that will ensure all content is formatted correctly, images are in the right places (and make sense editorially), as well as incorporate affiliate links to retailers across a variety of templates. This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates!
This role supports bringing content to life for brands such as People, Byrdie, Better Homes & Gardens, and Food & Wine.
About the Role:
Build all new content in the CMS, adding in details like in-text links, images, and a table of contents, while ensuring we comply with Google guidance on content schema such as FAQ blocks.
Collaborate with editors to make product swaps in roundups when needed.
Edit and build bio pages for the commerce team.
Edit and build all branded content, collaborating with the branded content manager to make sure the content fulfills the requirements.
Publish all new & updated product testing content in the CMS, including full product reviews and roundups.
Previewing and “QA-ing” all content before passing it back to editors. We are the final line of defense before publication.
Manage production workflow and stick to tight deadlines.
Troubleshoot technical issues that come up, making sure questions from editors/writers are answered in a timely manner.
About You:
Familiarity with content management systems and web publishing tools
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate actionable strategies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
A strong eye for detail and great attention to accuracy
Proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills
Basic Photoshop skills with an understanding of file formats, optimization and processing (cropping, resizing, color correction and silhouetting) are a plus
Bachelor's degree required
