The Editor(s) for the Entertainment Group will work with the Senior Editor(s) and the VP of Content Strategy to build the group’s evergreen content arm. This position will assign, edit, and cover search-driven entertainment content for PEOPLE, People En Espanol, and Entertainment Weekly, working closely with the growth/analytics teams. They will help execute an update strategy for this content, working closely with the Editorial Operations team. The ideal candidate will be a digitally-savvy pop culture and celebrity expert, with knowledge of SEO best practices and basic analytics. They will be detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic about the brands. This role also requires a strong, self-sufficient editor who is comfortable recruiting and managing freelance writers. They must be proactive–willing to speak up about problems and brainstorm solutions.
