Copywriter Intern

We’re looking for wickedly creative and highly motivated interns to join our EdelmanNEXT program. If you have a passion for writing, have a curious mind, with a can-do attitude, join us! As a member of the creative team, you will conceptualise big ideas for campaigns that challenge conventions and learn the ins-and-outs of what it takes to be a copywriter.

About The Internship

This is a full-time internship program for a period of 6 months.

What you'll be doing

Collaborating with the creative team to develop and write compelling and persuasive copy for advertising campaigns across various mediums, including print, digital, and social media
Writing and editing copy for websites, brochures, email campaigns, and other marketing materials
Researching and staying up to date on industry trends, competitors, and target audience insights
Assisting in the development of creative briefs and presentations
Working with the creative team to dream up big ideas for campaigns, then bring them to life

What Is Required Of You

A copywriting portfolio showcasing your creative thinking and writing ability
Strong writing skills and understanding of grammar
Experience in copywriting, advertising, or related fields is a plus
Passion for advertising and marketing
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to both learn and act on constructive feedback
