We have an exciting Deputy Editor role, working on a cutting-edge financial app for a soaring Bristol based company. They have huge growth plans and are expanding quickly, so are looking for a new team member!

As Deputy Editor, you will focus on developing and maintaining financial wellbeing content for users of the app. The content, as you can imagine, will be focussed on financial management, insurance tricks and budgeting hacks - so a background in financial services is highly desirable but not essential.

The role is available on a hybrid basis, working just one a day a week in the Bristol office. The content will aim to enrich users lives using data insights to evolve and enhance the subject matter. You’ll be an experienced writer, with excellent sub-editing and content administration skills. Able to conceive original editorial ideas, and write educational, compelling and persuasive content that motivates and inspires members

What do you need?

You’ll have a passion for data journalism, and experience of researching and presenting financial information in an accessible and user-friendly way

Write content for a variety of marketing activities, including scripts, social media, web assets, advertisements and internal communications

Ability to stand in for the editor when required and provide support to the team

To Be Considered You’ll Also Have

Previous experience in a similar editorial/content role
Financial or insurance sector experience is highly desirable but any sector is welcome, especially B2C!
Experience of writing content for a mobile app.
A love of writing and data story telling
