We are seeking a talented Editor to join our Creative & Marketing team starting 1st November, filling a vacancy created by a maternity cover absence. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the interior design industry and have a track record for consistently improving content marketing metrics. They should be able to interpret existing tone of voice and visual brand guidelines in order to maintain brand consistency during the time they will be with us. They will be able to successfully execute an editorial strategy which will include written, video and social content as well as turn their hand to content needs for general marketing campaigns. There will also be an element of design as part of this role including production of bi-monthly digital lookbooks, bi-annual printed magazines and regular digital advertising assets. Although the production of these assets will predominantly utilise existing templates rather than require original graphic design, the ideal candidate should have a keen eye for visual assets, sound knowledge of design principles and be highly detail-oriented.

Role Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute editorial strategy in accordance to marketing strategy, buying calendar, SEO opportunities and company guidance
Maintain and sub-edit brand tone of voice across the website and all owned channels
Assist CRM and social teams in their content planning and contribute content as needed
Analyse editorial performance data and implement learnings for future content
Facilitate, produce and direct video and photography shoots
Lead and strategise all editorial content for marketing campaigns
Manage, train and develop staff and/or freelance writing team
Employ and monitor the occasional use of AI-generated content
Create and produce bi-monthly digital lookbooks and bi-annual printed magazine using existing brand templates
Collaborate with the marketing team on developing and supplying digital advertising assets using existing brand templates
Manage photography and asset quality according to brand visual guidelines across site, CRM, social and other owned channels
Curate content for editorially driven e-commerce pages in collaboration with marketing and e-commerce teams
Provide product direction to e-commerce team for curated edits

Requirements:

Degree in English, journalism, interior design or a related field
A strong portfolio of print and digital editorial content
Strong track record of successful data metrics, including users, unique visitors, pages per visitor, click through rate, reach, referrals and engagement
Passionate about the fields of interior or furniture design, architecture, art history or other relevant field
Stellar knowledge of the interior design industry and the general zeitgeist
Well-established industry relationships and PR contacts
Proficiency in standard content management systems and willingness to learn proprietary software
Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to start from 1st November

Compensation:

£40-45k

Your location:

3 days per week from our flexible office space in London. For the remaining 2 days, you can work from a place that allows you to do your best work.

Your hours:

40 hours, Monday - Friday
