Editor / Journalist

A private news outlet in the Black Hills is seeking experienced reporters/editors for full and part-time positions. The news site, which has not yet gone public, will provide important local, regional and state news of the day in a non-partisan, concise fashion, reflecting the mission of the news start-up. Candidates must demonstrate:
-- Experience in reporting, writing and editing news stories of a complex and sometimes controversial nature.
-- Strong understanding of issues relevant to Rapid City, the Black Hills region and state.
-- An ability to produce compelling content on the news website, measured by analytics and community feedback.
-- Knowledge of software used in producing the website content.
