Exciting opportunity to lead an editorial team within a specialist intelligence product serving the payments industry.
The successful candidate will drive best-in-class editorial output and insights. We are looking for a hands on problem-solver with a strong work ethic and curiosity who is ready to help customers with cutting edge insights on relevant industry trends. You will lead the manage the editorial team on a day-to-day basis and ensure content is unique, accurate and compelling while also contextualising it to customer needs.
Duties will include:
Functional Leadership - Define the value proposition of Editorial content and ensure global alignment. Ensure all content is created with the customer in mind, is independent, is consistent in style, quality, balance and tone. Ensure each piece of content is unique and contributes to strategic value based on usage data, market feedback, expert analysis and editorial guidelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Lead on operational and strategic initiatives that position the service to grow profitability and innovate on new content and products.
New Product Development- Contribute to developing new products and evolving content; this includes enhancing the value proposition through new content types and data.
Commercial Enablement- Leverage content and industry knowledge to support sales and marketing.
Team Management- Lead with vision to inspire, empower and motivate the team to deliver great work. Manage, coach and mentor the team, by developing capability, subject matter expertise and capacity across the function
Requirements:
At least five years Editorial experience in a business information environment.
Strong commercial mindset and collaborative approach.
Strong understanding of the payments or related industry.
