About The Role

IMAX creative is looking for talented Trailer Editors that can drive, develop, and deliver stand out creative.

The ideal candidates will work on IMAX Documentary campaigns for either institutional, commercial, or digital releases and the creation of high quality sizzle reels. We are looking for individuals who can tell compelling stories with little to no copy, great music sensibility and a passion to produce high caliber work.

What You’ll Do

Edit and create trailers (1-3 minutes), sizzles (1-3 minutes), or special content reels
Work very closely with Head of Creative, AV Producers and Sr. Manager of Production on development of documentary trailers
Work with Post-Production to receive files for your edit project and troubleshoot issues as required

What You’ll Need

5+ years of professional trailer editorial experience in Entertainment, Creative Agency, or studio setting
Strong storytelling abilities to create high caliber trailers or sizzles
Extensive knowledge of Premiere Pro with the ability to create content under tight deadlines
Ability to edit, insert music, narration/dialogue and sound effects to a trailer, sizzles and/or video
Strong understanding and/or experience in AV finishing processes

Compensation
