In this contract position, you will craft portraits around select pieces and extract key insights from our body of work to broaden our impact, build awareness of the EdSurge journalism brand and strengthen its reputation as a leading news source by landing derivative coverage and by teeing up our subject matter experts as guest voices on other platforms. The key responsibility for this role will be media relations as you create a strategy for making EdSurge journalism more visible and execute the pitching of that content. Other important aspects of this role will include supporting publishing partnerships, impact assessment, and coordination with our journalism and research team members on special projects. Scope could include media training and advising on content strategy, depending on skills and experience.
