Email Marketer/Copywriter

Tortuga is seeking a freelance Retention Marketer (email and SMS) who is great at copywriting.

We have lots of traffic, tons of photos, hundreds of blog posts, great products, and customers who love us.

We need your help to get better at converting subscribers into buyers, cross-selling accessories to those buyers, and driving second purchases. We have everything a great Retention Marketer needs to do their best work. Now, we need you!

Tortuga is a small team where you can develop your skills and your freelance career. When we find a good partner, we work with that person for a long time and integrate them fully into our team.

Mission

Convert subscribers into customers and customers into repeat customers through educational, content-driven email and SMS marketing.

Objectives

Increase the percentage of sales from email and SMS from 2% to 15% (on a last click basis)
Increase the number of emails and phone numbers collected via the quiz and pop-ups without using a blanket discount incentive
