Property Week is the leading news magazine in the commercial and residential property market. Packed with news, features, opinion and analysis, Property Week keeps readers fully briefed on all the latest information from the industry, including major property deals, development opportunities and investment prospects.
Property Week’s award-winning editorial team also produces various Supplements, Sector Reports and Special Focus Features. Each feature will concentrate on important topics within the industry, from international matters to financial analysis.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
Reporting into the digital editor, the digital assistant will help produce and edit regular editorial content across all channels, with an emphasis on digital and social media. They will help with the day-to-day maintenance of the Property Week website, edit editorial content and help develop Property Week’s strategy to drive user engagement. They will also help develop our social media strategy and post daily engaging content across all PW social channels.
Key responsibilities:
Produce regular online web articles
Investigate and report on industry news under the guidance of the news editor
Helping with overall maintenance of website
Helping upload weekly PW magazine content to the website
Help develop and implement a new social media strategy
Responsible for posting engaging social posts each day across our Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram channels to help drive digital engagement and followers
Support on upcoming digital projects
Help to promote and support annual industry events
Skills and experience:
Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with a journalism, digital or media qualification
Ability to produce engaging written articles for both print and digital
Experience of implementing a social media strategy desirable
Knowledge of current social media trends
Property industry knowledge desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time-management skills
Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines

Basic CMS/web experience a plus
