General Assignment Reporter

The Redmond Spokesman, a weekly newspaper based in Redmond, Oregon, is seeking a general assignment reporter to cover this fast-growing Central Oregon city.

The reporter will work with an editor and office support staff. Some reporting experience is necessary, or work in a related field. Knowledge of how to employ social media to reach readers, and the ability to shoot quality photography, is required.

Redmond, with a population of 36,000, is at the center of innovative, light manufacturing and high-tech firms. Business growth here is a constant.
