Job Description:

Estuary is seeking a talented and experienced freelance Technical Writer with a strong foundation in SEO to join our team on a project basis.

In this role, you will collaborate with our technical content agency to edit and optimize the content featured on our blog. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring our blog content is informative, engaging, and well-optimized for search engines. While the initial focus will be on editing blog posts, there is the potential for this role to expand to include editing our internal technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with our technical content agency to edit and improve blog posts, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Apply your SEO expertise to optimize blog content, including keyword research, meta tag optimization, and enhancing overall search engine visibility.
Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to increase traffic to the website or blog.
Write high-quality, compelling, and engaging content for various digital platforms.
Manage the schedule and timeline of content creation and publication.
Collaborate with other writers and editors and receive feedback and suggestions.
Evaluate the performance and impact of the content using various metrics and tools.
Review and edit technical documentation, maintaining high-quality, user-friendly content.
Ensure that all content aligns with Estuary's branding and messaging guidelines

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Technical Writer with a strong portfolio
Demonstrated expertise in SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and proficiency in SEO tools.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail
Familiarity with data operations concepts, technologies, and tools.
Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and version control systems is a plus.
