Sunraysia Daily is looking for an experienced journalist to bring a healthy dose of vibrancy and enthusiasm to its newsroom.
Our newspaper is the leading player in a diverse media market in the wider Sunraysia region, which is experiencing a boom in investment and growth, and boasts a great lifestyle with more sunshine hours per year than the Gold Coast.
This is an opportunity to work on north-west Victoria's largest-circulating newspaper, which is published in print four days a week and maintains a custom-built news website. Sunraysia Daily is an independently owned newspaper that has been the voice of Sunraysia for over 100 years.
We are looking for a versatile, self-sustaining journalist and a great networker who can generate high quality stories and ideas on a diverse range of topics, while adhering to the highest standards of jounalism.
We will hire the candidate who can best demonstrate their ability to produce breaking news and engaging stories and features. Experience with online news writing will be an advantage.
Remuneration will be structured to reflect the skills and experience of the successful candidate. Editorial staff are employed under a workplace agreement that includes base wage rates above the award minimum.
