Financial Advisor IQ, the leading publication covering wealth management, is looking for an journalist who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom. The ideal candidate will be able to join a team of highly motivated and skilled journalists and establish themselves as a leader in the newsroom. We have an energetic team, and seek someone eager to jump into the workings of the financial advisor market, develop inside sources and produce exclusive, must-read stories that impact advisors in their day-to-day work. The job requires a reporter who can work on a daily deadline and write and report three or more in-depth articles a week. You will work the registered investment advisor (RIA) and broker-dealer businesses beat. We want someone who has a nose for news, can develop a network of sources and manage a pipeline of enterprise stories. You will tell stories with words, graphics and video at times and generate both hard news and features. On occasion, reporters may travel to conferences or other events.
