Financial News is an award-winning Dow Jones publication that sets the agenda for the City.
We are looking for a dynamic finance correspondent to break new ground with stories that matter to banks, hedge funds, law firms, insurance brokers and asset managers in London, Europe and beyond.
You will stay ahead of competitors with scoops on everything from mergers and executive moves to regulation probes and strategy shifts, and insights about new deals and regulatory developments as they impact the market while also authoritatively unpacking the impacts for the sector’s investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds and traders.
As a disciplined self-starter with a passion for owning the best sector coverage, you will also profile the City’s most compelling executives and be first to market with the personal stories of key influencers.
You will thrive with FN’s pace, and be comfortable with quick turnarounds produced in a compelling format amid the news cycle alongside high-value features.
Collaboration is also vital, as you would work closely with FN’s online editors and within a wider news team to participate in and aid the production of podcasts and events, as an extension of FN and your personal brand.
