Graphics Journalist, New York

The Financial Times is seeking an experienced visual journalist to join its award-winning Visual and Data Journalism team. Based in New York, this role will contribute to a new reporting function dedicated to delivering news and analysis in ground-breaking visual formats. The successful applicant will collaborate with news editors and other FT reporters to produce compelling content across a range of topics covered by the FT in the Americas. They will also work closely with colleagues in the wider Visual and Data Journalism team in New York, London and Hong Kong on bigger projects — and to ensure consistency of approach across our global newsrooms. Detail oriented, you will have a proven track-record of finding and shaping stories using graphics, data and other computational techniques combined with innovative digital presentation. An enterprising and enthusiastic team player, you will also need to be confident working independently as needed.
