Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Writer at Realfin. The Financial Writer will be responsible for researching and writing intelligent thought leadership reports and other content, incorporating Realfin's proprietary data, on the commercial real estate and infrastructure finance and investment markets.

Qualifications & Key Responsibilities

Write high-quality, insightful, and analytical research reports on real assets finance and investment trends.
Focus on detailed research reports but also produce shot-form analyses.
Collaborate with our Financial Data Analyst team to uncover the latest insights within Realfin's datasets.
Translate complex financial concepts into accessible, engaging content for a diverse readership.
Keep up with industry trends to ensure content is relevant and forward-thinking.
Take ownership reports end-to-end from conception to publication, sometimes to challenging deadlines.

About you

5+ years of proven experience in content writing, journalism, or financial analysis, preferably within the commercial real estate or infrastructure finance and investment - or otherwise within business or financial writing.
Exceptional ability to tease out interesting narratives and knack for storytelling
Strong instincts for narratives that stand out for the audience
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in finance or investment writing.
Strong research abilities and familiarity with financial databases and industry sources.
Ability to interpret financial reports, market data, and statistical information.
Ability to absorb large amount of information and turn around copy quickly
Confident and proactive in speaking to senior professionals at market participants (e.g. bankers, investors, investment managers) by email and phone to shape content
Intellectually curious and keen to learn
