CQ Legal Editor

CQ Roll Call is seeking an editor to help direct and edit teams of reporters covering state and federal regulatory and legislative developments in nine specific topic areas. Candidates need to have significant experience covering Congress and/or federal regulatory agencies and be familiar with congressional procedure and the federal rulemaking process. This job answers to the director of legal and regulatory products at CQ Roll Call, which is part of FiscalNote and will be part of a 14-member team covering these topics: Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate Governance, Data Privacy, Energy and Environment, Immigration, Insurance, Mergers and Acquisitions and Securities. Successful candidates will need at least five years of reporting experience in Washington or state capitals. Editing experience is preferred, but not required.
