This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Copywriter, passionate about brand tone of voice, to lead the creation of all copy for FitFlop across online and offline channels. Working collaboratively with the Design team, this role will convey the brand’s identity through effective and clever messaging across all marketing mediums, from advertising to retail communications, product naming and descriptions to technology messaging, as well as social media and editorial content.
A truly international brand, present in over 60 countries, this role will literally set the messaging tone of voice for the brand globally, and the associated challenge of “transcreation” and translation.
The Responsibilities:
Write and oversee the production of compelling, globally relevant copy across FitFlop branded channels (FitFlop.com, Facebook, Instagram) that conveys the brand DNA of Fashion + Biomechanics + Comfort in an engaging and action-inducing way
Work collaboratively with the Design team in the creation of through the line campaign and supporting seasonal assets, adapted to each stage of the consumer journey
Implement relevant processes to uphold high standards of writing and editing – ensuring consistency of language and accuracy of grammar across all key markets
Work closely with relevant stakeholders globally to ensure all copy is on brand, technically accurate and legally approved, ensuring the approval process is managed in the most efficient way
Ensure the timely delivery of all copy projects within a defined critical path, with the ability to manage and mitigate risk
Maintain external focus to ensure the ongoing differentiation and relevance of the brand, including the monitoring of competitive copy activity and the articulation of current fashion & social trends

You are a natural storyteller, inquisitive about language and how it’s evolving
Passionate about collaborating and a true team player
Great organisation and time-management skills, used to managing the workflow of others (freelancers, external translation agencies)
A senior English language copywriter (British and/or American) with knowledge of the differences between the two
A second foreign language a plus for the appreciation of the impact & challenges of translation.
Experienced in writing brand marketing and commercial copy across multiple channels (online and offline), ideally for a women’s fashion brand, preferably footwear
Used to working with Microsoft Office and experience of Content Management Systems
