Forbes believes in the power of entrepreneurial capitalism and uses it on various platforms to ignite the conversations that drive systemic change in business, culture and society. We celebrate success and are committed to using our megaphone to drive diversity, equity and inclusion. Forbes has recently announced plans to go public and to be listed on the NYSE via a special purpose acquisition company (or SPAC). This will enable Forbes to further capitalize on its successful digital transformation, using technology and data-driven insights to create more deeply engaged audiences, through editorial, product development and strategic investments. Forbes Media seeks an Assistant Editor to support the Forbes Leadership + Communities team. This is a junior position appropriate for candidates with a background covering or interest in business leaders, innovators and disruptors, as well as a demonstrable foundation in reporting, writing and multimedia journalism. Assistant Editors are the linchpin of the Forbes newsroom. This candidate will be assigned to leadership content, working at the intersection of editorial (editors, staff writers and outside contributors) and internal teams including social, product and analytics. An understanding of financial reporting is a strong plus as is an interest in — and aptitude for — digital journalism and project management.
