Temporary Reporter, CMO

Seeking experienced reporter and writer to assist in creating content. You will support the team building the Forbes Entrepreneurial CMO 50 List’s editorial package.

Responsibilities:

Writing sharp, compelling 250 word +/- bios/blurbs that highlight why each of the 50 CMOs on our list made the list (see the 2023 list blurbs for reference.)
Fact-checking the bios and nominee submissions
Write 700-1000 word features each of three honorees, as determined by the Forbes editor. Will require comfort contacting and interviewing sources, many of whom are powerful people in business.
Commitment to detail and deadlines with high-level time management and organizational skills

Strong writing and reporting skills
Research experience
Attention to detail in fact-checking
Flexibility and an interest to pitch in where needed

The hourly rate for this role is $35.00 - $45.00
