Forbes Marketplace is looking for a Paid Marketing Copy & Content Specialist working across all paid marketing verticals and domains.

The position will be reporting to the Paid Marketing Content Manager, and the successful candidate will also work closely with the in-house paid marketing and publishing teams.

The position will be responsible for creating and maintaining template-based content pages in the WordPress CMS for various content verticals and web brands and managing page request workflows between the paid marketing and publishing teams.

The role will be a mixture of ‘hands-on’ WordPress page production and maintenance, light copy edits, and managing publishing page requests and deliverables for accuracy, timely completion and delivery to the appropriate marketing teams.

This specialist role is fundamental to business success, ensuring we are able to publish WordPress content quickly, accurately and to the highest standards. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual to help Forbes Marketplace leverage and scale our paid marketing content production capabilities across multiple verticals and web brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with the Paid Content Manager, Paid Marketing team and Publishing team to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner.
Manage the daily publishing request workflows and review request tickets and WordPress page deliverables for accuracy.
Be flexible in your work schedule to accommodate meetings and communications with a global team. Workgroup time zones extend from IST (India) to Pacific Standard (PST) USA.
Manage requests and hands-on page production at a pace to meet established deadlines and to a high standard of accuracy. Attention to detail is vital and expected.
Become an advanced WordPress user within the Paid page templates on various websites. You will be expected to be able to make changes to all Paid template components self-sufficiently in both Classic and Gutenberg templates.
You will be expected to identify and raise any issues you encounter with the CMS to team management so that these can be logged with the technology teams for fixing. You will also be expected to proactively propose solutions for what the fix needs to achieve.

REQUIREMENTS:

WordPress CMS experience is crucial. We require two years plus experience in using classic and Gutenberg editor features in WordPress. You also need to enjoy exploring the various content creation options in the Paid templates and understand how to maximise template usage across various content needs.
Familiarity with project management systems such as Trello and Airtable is a plus, as is advertorial copywriting and US PR Style editing skills.
A high level of attention to detail is vital. The pages you create and review/approve should have very few, if any errors.
We aren’t looking for a paid marketing expert but a solid understanding of paid marketing, especially SEM principles is important.
You must be a good communicator, confident to communicate effectively with varying audiences and seniority.
You will be able to train and support colleagues in the content production process.
You will be expected to proactively seek out ways to complete tasks more effectively and efficiently. Providing solutions to management on how this can be improved for both you individually, and the wider team.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage your own time effectively to ensure the required production requests are completed in a timely manner.
Development skills are not a must but an awareness of technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript is advantageous.
