Crypto Editor

Fortune is hiring a Crypto editor to oversee and grow our reporting on alternative and cryptocurrencies. We’re looking for a standout editor who can immerse our readers in this fast-changing world and deliver reliable smart, insightful coverage that cuts through the hype. The right candidate will have a deep familiarity with the people and companies dominating this slice of the financial world, leads on up-and-coming people to watch, as well as a familiarity with how Fortune 500 companies and leaders are adopting crypto. We are also looking for someone who is eager to moderate and host live and virtual events (media training will be available if this area is new to you). You should be comfortable running a fast-paced team and pivoting from quick hits on the news to assigning deeper profiles, analysis, and service pieces. For this position, there will likely be international expansion possibilities for your team as we build out our crypto staff in Europe and Asia. Finally, we are looking for a team player, as our newsroom thrives on collaboration, experimentation, and telling great stories across platforms.
