The Herald is looking for a full-time general assignment reporter to produce engaging and in-depth stories on a variety of topics. We are looking for a versatile, digital-minded reporter who can quickly turn breaking news, while also digging deep into data and interviews for enterprise stories. We are looking for someone with strong writing skills, news judgment and a willingness to dive into their story metrics to see how we can best expand our audience. We are seeking someone who can get to the bottom of big issues, while expertly explaining those issues to the public, and at the same time can find a feature story that makes the masses go wild with interest. This position will work in various storytelling formats. It may include some evening hours. Think you might be the right person for the job?
