Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Founding Editor. The Founding Editor will be responsible for brainstorming and pitching compelling story ideas, working with writers to develop and edit compelling content, fact-checking and researching stories, and managing the day-to-day editorial process. The position is located in the New York City Metropolitan Area with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong eye for detail
Demonstrated ability to write and edit interesting, in-depth articles on a wide variety of business-related topics
Experience with content management systems and knowledge of SEO best practices
Proven track record of working with a team of writers and delivering high-quality content
Proficient at working on tight deadlines and juggling multiple projects at once
Experience in the entrepreneurship or startup space is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
