This role is mostly hybrid, but will report into their Jericho office 1x per week.
Responsibilities:
Write seasonal collection “Copy Banks” for their third party vendors, and collaboration copy for our website, emails, and display assets
Own digital marketing asset copy creation alongside Performance Marketing team
Come up with fresh content ideas for email storytelling and copy for paid social media posts
Be responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of product names and descriptions, specifications, and other product-related copy written with SEO and conversion in mind
Attend all product turnovers and research products, ensuring we’re constantly suggesting fresh, diverse options that are aligned with Product developments line sheet.
Fulfill all website copy requests
Faithfully follow (and edit accordingly to) their internal Style Guide and the AP Stylebook
Implement and execute editing processes, including proofreading
Demonstrate global cultural awareness with regard to other languages, diversity, inclusion and use consultant resources to create the correct brand voice in other languages when required.
Qualifications:
3-5 years progressive creative and digital marketing experience in both mass and prestige, with emphasis on copy and content applied to digital marketing, social, content, promotions, B2B, product descriptions, POS, print, packaging, and e-commerce.
Diverse knowledge of ecommerce and retail competitive landscape, understanding of testing development and use of research mediums.
Meticulous proofreader of your work
Use voice and creative sensibilities to translate creative concepts into materials for our consumer.
Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in Journalism, Advertising or other related areas with an emphasis on writing, ideally in ecommerce retail/beauty/fashion writing, in a global brand consumer environment or in a fashion editorial role.
