Are you a talented and innovative Video Editor with a passion for digital media? The Big Ten Network is seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Chicago, IL as a Freelance Digital Editor. This position requires expertise in various technical skills, including implementing Photoshop for Premiere Pro, creating After Effects graphics for Premiere Pro, working with Vertical video or 9:16 format, and utilizing Adobe's captions workflow.

a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities

Collaborate with the creative team to bring ideas to the table and contribute to the overall vision of the projects
Develop the skill to edit engaging long-form YouTube videos and aptly repurpose snippets, appealing for TikTok and Instagram Reels content
Implement Photoshop for Premiere Pro to enhance and optimize video content
Create visually stunning After Effects graphics and animations to elevate the quality of our videos
Work with Vertical video or 9:16 format to optimize content for mobile and social media platforms
Utilize Adobe’s captions workflow to create accurate and engaging captions for our videos
Organize, log, and encode footage efficiently to ensure seamless delivery to multiple team members

Detail-oriented, ensuring that every aspect of the video content is polished and precise

Deep knowledge of Big Ten history, member institutions, and pop culture, enabling you to create engaging and relevant video content that resonates with the target audience
