Franklin College’s award-winning Pulliam School of Journalism seeks a superb educator, communicator and mentor to join the faculty at the rank of assistant professor and contribute to a growing Public Relations program. The ideal candidate will be a team player with experience both as a communications professional and classroom teacher who is eager to help shape and deliver a rigorous curriculum that will prepare students to meet the demands of this challenging and opportunity-filled age. The successful applicant will be an innovative thinker who welcomes collaboration with both colleagues and students and is willing to work hard to develop and foster external partnerships that expand educational and career opportunities for students. A master’s degree is required, and a doctorate is preferred.
This is a full-time, tenure-track position that includes four courses each semester with an additional course offered every third Immersive Term (January), academic advising with students, committee work, and other service to the College.
