The Role

We are looking for a contract/freelance copywriter with extensive experience writing about the North American retail industry (the UK would be a plus), covering everything from changing in-store trends and new technologies, retailer loyalty programs, promotional strategies and trends, shopper marketing, consumer shopping and buying behaviors.

If you are applying for this position, here are the criteria we will expect you to have:

You have worked within an agency environment (or contracted with an agency) and written for multiple clients at any one time.
You have written content for business-to-business companies.
You have written content for different formats, including articles for websites and blogs, articles for trade media outlets, case studies, whitepapers, marketing materials such as eBooks and trend reports, newsletters, social media posts, website pages, product materials and talking points for presentations and speaking sessions.
You can make recommendations on how to best optimize copy for different formats.
You are comfortable conducting interviews and calls to gather information from clients and other sources.

The position is remote and, currently, part-time (contract), with an approximate work schedule of 20-30 hours per week.
