Freelance Content Editor

Stitch magazine is looking for a part time, freelance editor. This beautiful embroidery magazine presents projects and interviews from traditional to contemporary styles covering a vast range of skills and techniques from beginner to expert.

Your job will be to bring the fascinating and wonderfully creative world of embroidery to our dedicated Stitch audience, as part of the wider digital brand activity, working alongside our passionate publishing team.

A knowledge of embroidery is not essential, but would be useful.

Your main responsibilities on this 68-page bi-monthly publication will be…

· Commission and edit contributor copy, within budget parameters

· Brief designer and photographer to ensure engaging creatives

· Support the digital team with related content and assets

· Act as brand ambassador among related third-party organisations and events

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £1,125.00 per month

Expected hours: 17 – 20 per week
