As the copywriter on our Creative team, you will support our team in telling our brand stories through copy. You will have the opportunity to apply your creative talent across a range of brands and media channels. The ideal candidate has experience telling brand stories and writing clear, engaging copy to connect with consumers.
Responsibilities:
Ideate and create consumer facing marketing content for our brands including campaigns, ads, email marketing, social media posts, website, video, product listings, print collateral, and blogs
Ensure all content is accurate and consistent with the tone and style of the brands across multiple media channels
Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the nuances in digital storytelling across multiple channels
Partner with brand managers to refine brand tone and style, continuously evolving to ensure ongoing relevancy with target consumers
Collaborate with graphic designers to take creative direction and develop themes, copy content, and contribute to layout
Participate in design reviews with marketing and brand teams, implement feedback with solution-oriented mindset
Demonstrate the ability to write in different and distinct brand voices and styles
Experience managing various projects with quick timelines and deadlines
Monitor time to stay within budgeted hours
Qualifications:
BA in English, Journalism, Advertising, or Creative Writing
3 years professional copywriting experience in a retail, e-comm, advertising or other brand/agency environment
Demonstrated consumer facing copywriting experience in a multi-channel environment
Strong understanding of marketing’s impact on the customer journey and sales conversion
Experience in baby, home, furniture, or décor industries are a plus
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Impeccable grammar with impressive attention to detail
Self- motivated, adaptable, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
Exhibit a practical, creative, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
Experience with Project Management software a plus
$43 - $48 an hour
