About the Role
BKN is looking for a bee loving, wellness obsessive copywriter to support the elevation and evolution of the brand's voice across all platforms The ideal candidate is an expert storyteller who can articulate BKN lifestyle in just a few words. You will report directly to the CMO and support the entire marketing team by creating original copy that educates on our family of wellness products, grows brand awareness, drives conversion, and elevates every touchpoint of the consumer journey. This is an exciting opportunity to build, develop and evolve the voice with a special focus on online and offline brand presence as well as campaign messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Define, develop and curate the Beekeeper’s Naturals brand voice across all platforms
Build the brand book for style, voice, tone and messaging to be used across all products, comms, CRM and social channels.
Write compelling and exciting copy that captures our audience's attention on all social media platforms
Develop all performance based copy for digital ads and offline advertising
Make hive based wellness easy to understand by crafting relatable language in an elevated tone
Lead campaign language: creating taglines, campaign messaging and online/offline merchandising copy
Support DTC team with website copy, SMS, emails, performance ads, promotions, loyalty program, and other promotional/community activations
Serve as the Editor-in-Chief of our blog - interviewing influencers and practitioners on all things wellness
Support retail team with new product launches, floor-sets, pitches and educational content
Own all product, claim and packaging copy
Ensure the quality and accuracy of all copy and retrieve any missing information
Establish brand consistency in copy that is posted on all communication platforms
Handle projects requiring more specific and detailed copy creation, especially when working with content, editorials and special collections
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, rhetoric, or a related field
Minimum 5 years copywriting experience in consumer
Strong portfolio of work including campaign & brand level strategy, email, website, paid media, and social campaigns
Demonstrable knowledge of retail marketing and emerging digital trends
Experience writing both short and long-form content
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Laser-sharp attention to detail
An eagle eye for editing and proofreading
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Existing understanding of BKN brand tone and voice
Strong creative chops and a strategic mind
