Broad is looking to hire a freelancer for 1-2 projects who straddles the copy/strategy realm really well. That is to say, you feel just as comfortable in brand positioning work sessions for a tech company as you do writing headlines for a snack foods brand. You may be asked to run an interview or two during a discovery session, or iterate on tone of voice directions, or independently concept with our awesome designers.
You would be working with me specifically, as my right-hand support, or left-hand if that's your thing. Broad is a small, nimble, indie agency, which means you touch a lot of work, but your work might shape-shift over the engagement.
This role is for:
-A solid mid to senior-level copywriter AND/OR strategist.
-Remote in the United States, OR Philadelphia-based. We have a lil office in Queen Village and are happy to collaborate in person as well as accommodate remote folks.
-Someone comfortable using Slack, Notion, and G-Suite to plug into the larger team. (Bonus if you can pop into Figma.)
-Someone with a healthy work ethic and optimistic perspective.
This role is not for:
-Someone who is looking to just drop in and do a bunch of headline writing, or tv script concepting, or big fun consumery ideation in a deck. That stuff is part of it, but it won’t be your sole role.
-Someone who prefers to avoid being client-facing (this role may require some face time).
-A big, giant, NYC-style ego <3
