Role:
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of creating valuable, relevant, written digital PR web content. This position requires high levels of general creativity, as well as the ability to be dynamic across a multitude of industries. We expect the right applicant to have significant experience creating digital PR content, consistently maintaining high degrees of quality, accuracy, and relevancy across the finished pieces. The ideal candidate will have a robust portfolio of published digital PR ideated and composed by them.
Please note: We are open to candidates that only create the written portion of the digital asset, as well as candidates that create AND promote the asset via email outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute innovative digital PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Collaborate with the edit and review teams to align digital PR efforts with broader campaign strategies.
Create and distribute compelling content that resonates with our target audience/s.
Reviewing online data sources and extrapolating a narration for a digital asset from them.
Performing supplemental online research into various data sources to enrich and complete digital assets.
Meet deadlines consistently.
Identify, build, and maintain relationships with key online media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers for asset promotion (prefered but not required).
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field OR demonstrable equivalent experience in digital PR or a related role.
A strong portfolio showcasing successful PR campaigns.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of online media channels, trends, and best white-hat industry practices.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with media professionals and relevant influencers.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Results-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience with Asana preferred, but not required.
Experience with the Google Suite preferred.
Experience working remotely preferred, but not required.
Demonstrable knowledge of SEO best practices.
Compensation:
Compensation will vary based on experience and skillset.
Base Compensation for Digital PR asset creation will be compensated on a per word basis ranging from $.15 to $.20/word.
Digital PR asset promotion via manual outreach will be compensated based on number of emails sent and dependent on depth of experience.
