MCTI is an accredited non-profit training program through the nationally recognized NCCER curricula for Piping, Plumbing, HVAC, and Sheet Metal. As we continue to grow and expand our initiatives, we are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Grant Writer to work with our team. Position: Freelance Grant Writer

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities: As a Freelance Grant Writer, you will be responsible for:

Researching and identifying potential grant opportunities that align with our organization's goals and initiatives.

Writing compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and other documents to secure funding from foundations, government agencies, and other grant-making organizations.

Collaborating with internal teams to gather information and data necessary for grant proposals.

Keeping abreast of industry trends, funding opportunities, and best practices in grant writing.

Managing and maintaining a grant calendar to ensure timely submissions and reporting.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:

Proven experience in grant writing, with a successful track record of securing funding for non-profit organizations or similar entities.

Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of grant application processes and requirements.

Ability to work independently and remotely.

Requirements:

A portfolio of successful grant proposals or writing samples.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Availability to work on a freelance basis, with flexibility to meet deadlines.
