Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on assigned topics and gather relevant information
- Write clear, concise, and engaging stories
- Edit and proofread stories for accuracy, grammar, and style
- Fact-check information and ensure all sources are properly cited
- Utilize news outlets to find and research stories
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a writer or in a similar role
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research skills to gather accurate and reliable information
- Familiarity with fact-checking processes and techniques
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with sources, colleagues, and readers
It's $250 an episode (up to 4 episodes a week) episodes are between 5-8min long
Must be interested in story especially true crime. Looking for someone to help find the stories and write them. Must be great with storytelling and doing the research for each story. All stories must be as factually sound as possible. No need to be a comedic writer. Most of the storytelling is about stakes and heightening
