Coastal Communications Corporation, a leading hospitality B2B trade magazine publisher for 49 years, is looking for freelance writers, preferably with knowledge of the meetings and incentive travel industry.
We assign articles primarily from our editorial calendar, each around 2,000 – 2,500 words, depending on the topic. Writers must interview a minimum of three U.S.-based meeting planners for each article.
Responsibilities:
Writing articles for our publications regularly.
Conducting interviews and thorough research on various topics.
Editing and proofreading articles for grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.
Meeting deadlines and managing multiple writing assignments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a freelance writer or in a similar role.
Strong writing, researching, fact-checking and interviewing skills.
Proficient in AP Style.
