Role

As a Freelance Writer specialized in paid and earned press, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling articles, newsletters, and press kit copy that effectively promote our influencers and their brand partnerships. Your ability to identify unique angles, tell engaging stories, and produce content at scale will be crucial in driving the success of our influencer marketing campaigns.

KPI

Number of articles, posts or pieces completed in a timely manner
Quality Metrics: Number of revisions or edits required per piece.
Angle Diversity: The range of unique angles and perspectives you bring to writing to ensure fresh and captivating storytelling.

Responsibilities

Writing skills: Generate high-quality written content across various platforms, including blog posts, articles, website copy, marketing materials, social media content, and more.
Research: Conduct thorough research on clients and emerging publications and news outlets to gather accurate and up-to-date information for creating insightful and valuable content.
Storytelling: Develop captivating narratives that resonate with our audience, bringing a unique and fresh perspective to the subjects you cover.
Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit your own work for clarity, consistency, grammar, and style, ensuring a polished final product.
Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing and PR teams
Adaptability: Tailor your writing style and tone to suit our clients and target audience, platform, and goals of each piece of content.
Creativity: Continuously brainstorm and contribute new ideas that align with our brand and resonate with our readers.
Deadline Management: Manage your workload effectively, meeting project deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Proven writing experience through a portfolio of published work, whether in traditional print media, online platforms or personal blogs
Editing and proofreading skills and the ability to self-edit and proofread work
The aptitude to generate original and innovative ideas, especially for creating engaging and compelling content.
Strong communication skills, not only in writing but also in collaborating with clients, and other team members.
Digital literacy
Understanding of search engine optimization principles to optimize content for better visibility on search engines.
Knowledge of social media platforms, influencer marketing trends, and digital marketing strategies.
Bachelor's degree in communications, English, Journalism or Creative Writing would be an advantage
