Freelance Writer

Relevance, a digital growth marketing agency, is looking for versatile freelance writers to produce content. Compensation ranges from $70 to $100 per article, your rate will depending on the quality of work demonstrated in a paid test article. High-volume writers (capacity of four articles per week or more) are preferred.

You:

- Can take a two- to three-sentence article summary and write an SEO-optimized article that is well supported by examples, statistics, and other evidence

- Can, in a timely manner, conduct enough research on a new topic area to write about it in a credible, persuasive way (Note this does not include interviews)

- Can write article takeaways that provide the reader with fresh, specific, actionable advice

- Have a good sense of article structure and can tell a story in the right order

- Know the difference between engaging writing and plodding (or overwritten) prose and will strive to produce the former

Duties

- Draft articles of 800-1,200 words in length, according to the managing editor’s instructions

Competencies Required:

- Excellent writing skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Consistent adherence to deadlines

- Proficiency in Google Workspace applications

- Curiosity about a wide range of subject areas, particularly tech, finance, marketing, and health/wellness
