CinemaBlend seeks an enthusiastic entertainment fanatic with Saturday and
Sunday availability for a freelance news writing position who is plugged into the industry. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated wordsmiths with up-to-date knowledge of the entertainment industry and an appetite for movies and entertainment. This is a freelance position with room to grow.
We're looking for someone who's up for writing on a variety of movie, TV, celebrity and streaming-related topics, has a good sense of humor, pays attention to details, and writes with a fun, conversational tone. We’re also looking for someone who is able to write on weekend days.

This is a freelance telecommute position for a news writer who's open to writing about a variety of topics within entertainment.
Freelancers are paid a per-article rate.
This is a news-writing position, with potential to expand into editorial later on.
Journalism degree not required.
Some writing experience is required. We will want to see published articles from an online outlet, preferably related to movies or TV.
We expect a quick turnaround on all article assignments, so we're looking for someone who's good with details, knows the industry and can submit clean copy.
Hours of availability will be flexible
